i know how hard this can be! Personally I have never used a potty pad...To me, it adds another step to train them to not pee there once the pad is gone. We spent a LOT of time outside...going out every ten minutes atleast and every time she went potty outside gave a big "good girl potty!" ...

we have had the same problem...and I guess they like cat poo so much because cat food is so high in protien...therefore their poo is high in protien! we have pretty much trained our dog away from it...at least in the cat box.
