Watson sort of calmed down after the GS finished, but he continued to bark a little bit.
My husband and I did everything we could to block him. He was biting at me, so I couldn't hold him close. I wasn't about to get bit.
Thanks for the replies

My little graduate :D
Watson finished puppy class on Saturday. He was soooo cute in the hat! It covered his left eye so I called him a pirate graduate :P. http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv12/Bedevere88/IMG_4547.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv12/Bedevere88/IMG_4548.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/vv12...

A situation in puppy class.
Watson has been doing pretty good lately. He still has his moments, but they are not nearly as much as they used to be. I guess he's growing up :P . On Saturday he graduated from Puppy Training Class. He was the second to last to put on the silly hat and pose for a picture. He did not seem remotely ...

Re: Rather alarming video about Wellness brand food
Hmm I dunno what to think about that video, but I do know that I will never feed my dogs Science Diet. The last two dogs my mom and dad had were fed that their whole lives and ended up dying of cancer. Maybe it wasn't the food, but I don't trust it. My puppy eats Precise puppy food for small/medium ...

Re: Winter is coming soon
Winter in this area is just plain annoying. The temperature will fluctuate between 70 and 20 degrees from now until March. It very rarely stays consistently cold for more than a week or two. Just a lot of ups and downs. It's perfect whether for getting ill .

Re: Scared of cars...
Just as a side note. It is a good idea to be very careful how you hold her leash until she calms down around cars. My mom's Rottweiler, Thor, ended up dislocating my mom's finger because a car scared him and he took off running. He finger is now permanently swollen at the knuckle. I know that doesn'...

Woohoo small successes!
My Corgi Watson is an incredibly smart puppy, but he has problems going for walks. He used to not walk at all, even if he was full of energy, but today I got him to walk with me alone around the block! I had to pick him up a few times, but overall it was a success because we used to not be able to g...

Actually we were considering an older dog. We don't want another puppy right now. Watson is enough .

Dr. Watson :D
This is my baby Watson! He is a 4 month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppy. He is what I like to call a little corgi mess, but I love him anyways. His full name is Dr. Watson Harley Caligula (Watson from the Sherlock Holmes novels, Harley because the breeder gave us a Harley Davidson collar for him when...

Quick Question.
I really don't know where to put this, but I really would like some advice from other dog owners. My husband and I are looking to adopt another dog, because our Corgi puppy enjoys playing with my parent's dogs so much and we want him to have a playmate at home as well. So my question is, is it possi...

An overdue introduction.
I've been on the forum a couple of days and I haven't introduced myself. I jut went straight for the training advice. I know it was a bit rude of me. My name is Jo and I live with my husband and three cats (2 female Athena and Juno/ 1 male Obi Wan) and one 3 month old Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Wats...

Re: Puppy behavior issues. Please HELP!
Interesting, I had never heard that the only amount of exercise a puppy needs is 5 minutes x's the number of months old he is. Watson has a lot of energy though, and I don't know how to get rid of it, without exercising him. I never give him too much. If he looks tired I let him rest. He does know h...
