is this considered overboard???

Post by dontpugme »

I was wondering why we got a pug. I knew that before Max, we had another pug (also named max  ). We had to give max the first back to the pug rescue because we had to travel out of the country. This was when i was like 2. I wondered why my dad had chosen a pug. Now i'm on vacation visiting family and saw my aunt's house.

This is just her main shelf. The kitchen and her office have lots of pug memorabilia.

I think it runs in the family. My great aunt decorated her kitchen with witches. (we've given her a few for her collection including one that does the chicken dance and a barbie)

Okay, photobucket is not cooperating. Sorry some of these are kinda huge.

You didn't really have much choice in getting a pug then, you have been brainwashed to them.

Hmmmm....

Only one pug mug?

Until you also have pug wallpaper, pug carpeting and pug upholstery, I don't think you're into overload.

But if it gets to the point where you paint your vehicle to look like a pug .... well, then I think you may have crossed that threshold. lol

"HOLY COW!" or is it, "HOLY PUG!"

I have to agree with Mattie, when she said that "you've been brainwashed!"

Brainwashed indeed  I wonder what would have been said if you had picked a breed OTHER than a pug

I once spent a few days working with a man who had Appaloosa horses, which he drove as pairs and as a team....

He also had Dalmatians.

I shouldnt have been surprised, but I was.... that his front door was spotty, he had spotty wallpaper, spotty plates, mugs, cushions.... everything, was spotty!

That is an impressive pug collection there though!

If you were brought up in this family, it would be Rottweilers. I've got the same as your aunt in rott-a-belia. Two china cabinets, a curio filled and miscellaneous items spread around the house. Plus four real ones. In my defense, most of the statues were gifts from family and friends.

At one point, my aunt had like 40 pugs. Sadly, most of them died of PDE. She has maybe 5-10 left. My birthday and Christmas gifts from her were things like pug pillows (which her couches have at each end), pug cell phone cases, and my personal favorite was my pug wallet.

No way. I love pugs, but not a fan of tattoos.

Pug Dog Encephalitis. Its an inflammatory disease of the brain. There is no cure and it is hard to diagnose.
