Oh well done, Emmabeth! Good questions you asked, and interesting answers.
He seems like such a sweet guy. Small wonder dogs love him
Wish I could see his BBC show, but all I get from the show link is a big sign that
says "Nyah, you can't have it!"

Ach don't thank me, Zak is a REALLY super nice guy and he sat down to do that video just minutes after receiving my email.
I love his enthusiasm and his unashamed PASSION for what he does and it really is infectious - if I am feeling down or bummed out about something dog related, I only have to watch a couple of his videos on youtube and I am reminded WHY we do this!
I hope if anyone here is feeling a bit frayed at the edges either with their own doggy issues or with helping other people, that this gives you guys a bit of renewed enthusiasm!

Totally cool Emmabeth! Dontpugme, thanks for the link to his facebook too.
Grammy to Sky and Sirius, who came to live with me, stole my heart, and changed my life forever as I took over their care and learned how to be a dog owner.

Great questions Emmabeth, but I have even a bigger secret: I think I know who did the picture of Zak George's dog, Venus, and she is a talented lady too!
Re: Zak George does a mini vid interview for us!
that was nice of him to take the time and respond specifically to Emma's questions.

Woo hooo!! Brilliant
Re: Zak George does a mini vid interview for us!
UPDATE: Zak is no longer going to be a part of Who Let the Dogs Out? He said the direction the BBC wanted to go with the show did not agree with his ideas anymore. At the moment, he is offering trick classes here in the states and is having a lot of fun with them.

That's really ominous, isn't it? I can't imagine they'd want a children's dog program to be full of dominance techniques... but where else could they part ways? Unless they wanted to get the dogs to do tricks that he wasn't happy with I suppose?
Re: Zak George does a mini vid interview for us!
He posted a video about it on his YouTube...haven't had time to watch the whole thing yet, but he was talking about how he was more focused on improving the relationship and communication between owner and dog, while the BBC was focused on something else, I think something like entertainment value? Like I said, I ran out of time so didn't get to watch the whole thing, but it should have some answers.
